Hanas Logistics Putian Office and Putian City Fire Brigade carried out emergency drills
In order to further strengthen the company’s emergency rescue system, Improve the emergency response mechanism of hazardous chemicals, and enhance the rescue capability of safety accidents, on July 31, Hanas Logistics Putian Office and Putian City Fire Rescue Detachment carried out emergency rescue and disposal drill for LNG tank truck leakage accident. The purpose of this drill is to improve employees’ emergency response awareness and handling capabilities, prevent and control emergency accidents caused by potential liquefied natural gas leakage, and minimize accident hazards.
The drill started at 17:00. During the driving of an LNG tanker, it was rear-ended by a heavy truck coming from behind, causing damage to the rear operation box of the tanker, trapping of personnel in the tank, and rupture of the liquid level gauge pipeline leading to the leakage of LNG. May cause the leaked natural gas to combine with air to create an explosive source. The Putian office of Hanas Logistics responded quickly and jointly launched the emergency rescue plan for the accident with the Putian Fire Department, and commanded and issued rescue instructions on the spot. The emergency coordination team, the fire rescue team, the medical rescue team, the alert evacuation team, and the environmental monitoring team performed their duties and carried out the rescue work in an orderly manner. Through the close cooperation between the rescue staff and the fire brigade, the accident risk was effectively resolved, and the accident was successfully dealt with.
