Emergency drill of pull-out valve accident at terminal filling station
In order to further strengthen the emergency management of safety in production, improve the emergency handling ability of Hanas terminal filling stations, enhance staff safety awareness, and ensure safe and stable operation. Operations management department organizes emergency drills of pulling and breaking valves at Rizhao Friendship, Master and Rizhao Yuantai gas stations.
Before the drill, the Operations Management Department conducted a series of targeted training for the gas station staff, explained the working principle of the pull-off valve and the emergency measures and methods after the pull-off, so that all staff could be familiar with and master the various responsibilities in the emergency, calmly face the emergencies, and choose the correct and compliant handling methods.
At the beginning of the drill, the gas filler Ma Jianping and Ma Fuxing added liquid to the vehicle. Because the pad was not placed under the wheel according to the operating rules, the pull-out valve of the liquid filling hose was broken by the liquid filling vehicle chute. Ma Jianping immediately pressed the emergency stop button of the liquid filling machine and reported it to the station manager in time. After receiving the report, the station manager confirms that there are no injuries, fire and explosion, and so on. After confirming that there are no errors, he immediately sends out instructions, organizes the personnel on the site to set up emergency rescue teams, immediately cut off the total power supply, evacuate the personnel on the site, pull up the guard belt, and prevent the entry of foreign personnel or vehicles.
Emergency rescue team immediately rushed to the accident site with maintenance tools. After checking the filling machine, it was found that after the pull-out valve was broken, no leakage accident occurred, and all other accessories were normal. Close the inlet valve and return valve at the root of the filling machine in time, open the vent valve of the filling machine to vent, and then use explosion-proof tools to remove the damaged pull-out valve and install a new pull-out valve to connect with the filling pipe. After the replacement of the pull-out valve, close the vent valve, open the return valve and the outlet valve of the filling machine, check the filling machine, find that there is no leakage, meet the production conditions, notify the warning to be lifted and resume production.
Through this accident drill, the safety awareness of gas station staff has been effectively enhanced, and the ability of emergency handling has been improved. Left-hand cohesion, right-hand execution, a sense of responsibility, the operation management department will continue to learn lessons, accumulate practical experience, unremittingly grasp safety management, and promote the sustained and healthy development of gas stations.
